Wrens and Blue Tits

I went to a little spot I know today near Kelso were I can get quite close to some of the local bird life. Its a place I visit on a regular basis to photograph the wren that seems to be resident there. I was a little concerned after all the very cold weather we have that it might not have survived. But after a few minutes it put in an appearance and and I was very pleased to see it.

The light wasn’t at its best but that doesn’t matter to much if you can get really close. I sat for a while but the birds did appear and they did oblige by coming within ten feet of me. I just had a couple of hour there and I am quite pleased with the results.
