We (my wife Lynn and I) went out today for little air before the festivities this morning. It was quite sunny but still very cold. I saw a few Red Legged Partridges scratching around in the snow for food. I managed to get reasonably close to get these shots. I like the texture of the snow around the birds and the light was excellent. Canon 500mm f4 lens, f4, 1/2500sec, ISO 320 Merry Christmas
