I have been looking through some pictures of gannets on bass rock and come across this little beauty. I think this is the ugliest bird I have ever come across. What do you think

I was on Ardnamurch peninsula during the summer and came across a giant midge. I new they grow big here but this is ridiculous, So if your going I’d get some cream if I were you

I was driving across the Borders today to Melrose using the back roads. On the road to Stichill there was a group of fourteen whooper swans in a stubble field. I stopped for a few minutes and got these pictures.

I was fishing on the River tweed the other day at Melrose in the Scottish Borders. I notice a pair of dippers feeding on the waters edge. So I went back to get some pictures today.

I’m beginning to to like these little birds. They seem to be in tip-top condition at present. This little chap was at Dunbar bathing on the car park when I got these images.
