Hi John

Many thanks for the kind comments

I do remember meeting you and our brief chat. I tend to use a bean bag as often as I can these days, they are very versatile. Well done with your pictures and good luck in the future

Regards

Ron

Hi Ron
We met briefly in the Leighton Moss Eric Morcambe hide whilst you were taking these photographs which, like the rest of your website are both excellent and interesting.
Thank you for pointing out the Spotted Redshank to me. This bird is a first for me and I too managed to obtain some exceptable photographs of it which were subsequently posted to flickr (woodmouse2010) and Birdguides (flyhigh).
Your advice on the use of a beanbag rather than tripod for hide use has been headed and I have one on order.
It is always good to learn from the experienced. Thank you for your help and the interest.

HI Helena

I'm afraid I don't have anything from the London area, most of my work is in Scotland

But thanks for the thought

Hello Ron:
Your work is inspiring and it really depicts nature’s true beauty.
There is a photo competition being run at the moment by London Underground in partnership with the RSPB that aims to raise people’s awareness of the amazing array of wildlife you can find around you in London – I thought this could be something you could be interested in. You would surely add a lot of beauty and passion to it.

Thanks Ron for your frequent photos that never cease to amaze me. You must have such patience to wait for the magic moment. I think that shots that chronicle behaviour are more interesting than the static ones especially when you explain the situation that the animal/bird is in. I am forwarding your photos to several friends including an old flat mate who has lived in Canada for forty years and they all appreciate seeing them.
