| Herring Gull with Guillemot | |
| The picture was taken on the Farne Islands in Northumberland. The herring gull was circling the guillemot colonies looking for an easy meal. It circle around three time before swooping into the colony and emerging with this guillemot chick.
I think it is a very poignant picture with the guillemots looking on May 2009 |
